We embrace the faith of the apostles & the martyrs as outlined in the Apostles' Creed circa 1st or 2nd century.
God's Word
The Bible is the authoritative, true, written Word of God. It reveals the truth about God, contains everything necessary for salvation, & is our standard for right & wrong.
Wesleyan Understanding of Salvation
1. All need to be saved.
2. All can be saved.
3. All can know they are saved.
4. All can be saved to the utmost.
Disciple-Making
Our primary focus at Heritage is multiplying disciples. We aim to equip believers to walk alongside one another with the ultimate goal in mind...becoming who Jesus created us to be: disciples who make disciples.
Spiritual Gifts
Every born-again believer is filled with the Holy Spirit. Each believer has a unique mix of spiritual gifts to equip him/her to serve the Body of Christ. We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to believers today.
Baptism
We believe in the baptism of believers who confess their sin & place their faith in Jesus as their Savior & Lord. We also claim infants in faith that one day they will be confirmed by publicly professing their faith when they are ready to do so.
Communion
All who repent of their sin, confess Jesus as Lord & Savior, & live in love & peace with their neighbors are welcome to participate. We believe in the real presence of Jesus in the communion elements.
