What To Expect

We are delighted that you are considering Heritage Church as a place to worship.

We hope that you will find us to be a warm, friendly, and spirit filled congregation.

Whether you are looking for a church home or a place to visit, we welcome you with the grace and love of Jesus Christ.

Before I Arrive...

Where should I park?

We have two large parking lots on the east and the west side of our church building. Both areas have visitor and handicap parking spots. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU PARK ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE CAMPUS FOR EASIER ACCESS TO THE NURSERY AND CHILDREN'S BUILDING. The entrance on the east side of the building is a level entrance and is wheelchair accessible. Additional parking is available at the Van Buren High School tennis courts and school which are located across the street.

What should I wear?

We offer three worship services at Heritage. The dress for our 9:30am Traditional service is business casual. Dresses, slacks, and collared shirts are very appropriate. The dress for our 8:05am and 11:00am Contemporary services are very relaxed and laid back. Blue jeans and shirts are found to be the norm. We are much more concerned with your heart than what you wear.

Once I Am There...

Will there be someone to help me find my way around?

Absolutely! There will be host to greet you at each entrance of the church, and others stationed in our Welcome Center (which is to the right of our sanctuary). Our hosts are capable of answering any questions you may have concerning the location of areas within our church.

Can I get a cup of coffee?

Our Welcome Center is a gathering spot for fellowship, information, and food. We provide a lite continental breakfast with coffee, juice and milk. We invite you to come early and take part of the fun. It is a great place to meet the folks of Heritage.

What will worship be like?

We offer three worship services at Heritage: Awakening @ 8:05am, Traditional @ 9:30am and Contemporary @ 11:00am.

Our Awakening Service is our newest service, offering contemporary worship with full praise team and the same Bible-based message as our other services.

Our Traditional Service features a choir, traditional hymns accompanied by piano and organ, the use of historic creeds and responsive readings, and the same Bible-based message as our other services.

Our Contemporary Service features a full praise team, high energy praise and worship, and the same Bible-based message as our other services.

What if I need prayer or ministry?

Each service ends with a response time at the altar which can be used for private prayer or you can request prayer with one of our trained prayer ministers. Both services are equipped with full altar ministry teams.

After the Service & Beyond...

What if I need more information?

During each service you are provided with a connection card that you can find inside your bulletin. We ask that you complete the card with your basic contact information. There are also boxes that you can check on the card, letting us know if you desire more information or to be contacted by someone at the church. Please complete the card and drop it in the offering plate, place it on the altar or give it to one of our ushers. Completion of this card will automatically sign you up for our weekly newsletter which will keep you up-to-date on the happenings of Heritage.

Becki Kneeland is our full-time Welcome Minister. She handles our follow up and would love the opportunity to visit with you. You can always contact Becki at 479.474.6424 during regular business hours or you can email her at bkneeland@heritage.church. We also encourage you to continue to explore our website. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
