SPRING

As I sit and ponder the fact that we are already into the Spring of 2019, I am amazed at how this year is moving.  We have already experienced spring break and are quickly moving toward Resurrection Sunday, Mother’s Day and yes, the end of the school year!  There are flowers in my yard (that I didn’t plant!), wasps over my porch   (which  I don’t like) and more birds than I can count singing outside ( which I love).! Spring signifies the start and end of many things.  And of course, for almost every word in my vocabulary, I can think of a song with that word in it…

I’ve got a river of life flowing out of me, Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see,

Opens prison doors, sets the captives free, I’ve got a river of life flowing out of me.

Spring up, O well, within my soul, Spring up oh well, and make me whole,

Spring up, O well, and give to me, That life, abundantly.

So…out of everything I have already mentioned, and the other things Spring will bring forth, the essence of spring     is that new life is birthed…In us and through us, which leads to life eternal and abundant life while we walk this earth.….

” Spring is an intermediate seasonal phase in between winter and summer. Spring signifies  emergence of new life. Spring months are the blossoming months that bring meaningful growth and rejuvenation in its wake.”  www.mapsofworld.com/referrals/weather/seasons/spring.html

Look for the new life that God is trying to birth in you during this season. Because of your relationship with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, there is “Spring” (New Life) within you waiting to burst forth. There is meaningful growth and rejuvenation which can benefit you and those around you. Let it break out! Let it spring forth! Let the new life begin, now!

Spend more time in the word …. spend more time in worship and just watch the meaningful growth and rejuvenation bloom! Happy Spring!
