To Love & To Lead: Staff Discussions

Happy New Year! We have made it to see the year 2019. What a wonderful blessing! What a privilege to be given the gift of life and another year to work, play, sing, dance, worship and serve.

Many will make resolutions, set new goals, pursue new opportunities and strive to make 2019 a better year than 2018, for ourselves and our families. Then there are some who have no set goals, will not make a resolution (because they have broken so many) and who are not sure if they will be able to make a better life for themselves or their families in this new year.  The new year brings different feelings, emotions and expectations for all of us.

I will be evaluating and taking note of all the dreams and visions God has given me. I will be looking to the promises in God’s word and the guiding of the Holy Spirit to help me set goals for my spiritual, emotional, financial, educational and ministry life.

I am entering this new year full of hope and expectation! My prayer for you, my brothers and sisters is that you will do the same.

  • Expect that if you commit your way to the Lord in 2019, He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-7).
  • Expect that even if 2019 has its share of hard times and trials, you have a savior who will be with you (Isaiah 41:10).
  • Expect that if you will spend time in prayer and praise your inner man will be strengthened daily (Psalm 73;26, Psalm 103 :1)
  • Put your hope in the Lord and not man and you will have perfect peace in 2019 (Psalm 31:24, Isaiah 26:3)

2019 is here! There is no turning back! The year will be what we make it! God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above anything that we could ask or seek! Move forward in this new year with PRAISE, PURPOSE AND JOY!
